ABOUT ME
Ten years ago, along with my husband, I founded the Bidgiemire Pig Co.
Over time, Bidgiemire became one of the best known companies for supplying traditional pig breeds and pig equipment to smallholders, celebrities and even royalty.
My expertise in pigs has led me to be commissioned to write two books, Choosing and Keeping Pigs and Pigs for the Freezer, a Smallholders Guide.
I am also a regular contributer on rural issues for Smallholder, HomeFarmer and Farmers Guardian, Country Smallholder and FarmingScotland.
In the past I have written for the nationals, provincial newspapers and lifestyle magazines on a variety of subjects such as travel, cookery the garden and off-roading. I submit interesting and easy to read, sparkly copy within required deadlines.
